6 Steps to get your child interested in reading

Encouraging your child to read can be one of the most important gifts a parent can give to a child. Many children need little encouragement and devour their favourite books like hungry caterpillars on a cabbage leaf, whereas other children are somewhat less motivated to pick up a book and I’d even go so far as to say dread the thought of reading-time in class or at home. And let’s face it, learning to read can be hard work, even for the most gifted of children.

So how can parents or teachers make the prospect of spending an hour or so with a book a more inviting prospect? We’ve been trawling the internet to check what advice is out there and have come across a website called superbabyonline. They have a great list of easy to implement tips on getting your child interested in reading. To take a further look go to www.superbabyonline.com/6-steps-to-get-your-child-interested-in-reading/ .
