Helping Someone to Help Themselves

4th February 2015

Just about every blog we’ve ever written has waxed lyrical about the importance of reading, and whilst we do have a vested interest in the subject matter given the nature of our business, our aim from the very beginning has always been to try to ensure everyone can enjoy fantastic experiences and opportunities reading can provide.

But we’re not the only ones who have a desire to help people learn to read effectively, there are many organisations, clubs and charities that all do extremely valuable work in this area. One such organisation is Read Easy, who recruits volunteers to help deliver their adult literacy programmes. PhonicsThruMusic fully supports any organisation or individual carrying out such fantastic work, so if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer and helping someone learn to read check out the Read Easy website at www.readeasy.org.uk.
